Testimony #25

“I was assaulted during my internship abroad through Princeton. I was left traumatized and literally no idea what to do. I received no training about how to handle an instance of inter-personal violence while abroad with Princeton. My attacker lived in the same hostel with me, and I didn't have the financial resources to change my living situation, so I just had to carefully dodge him and avoid common areas in my home and on the street for the rest of my time in the country. I almost missed my flight home because I was still disoriented and processing in the airport. I just felt powerless and like there was absolutely nothing I could do.”
